Garbage/Recycle Center:   Attendant is on duty Saturdays 8:00 a.m.-noon,  and on all Tuesdays from 4-6pm.  

An official Town of Greenfield bag is required at a cost of $1.00 per bag.  They may be purchased from the Attendant, Jerry McGinnis.

There will be a SPRING  FREE DUMP DAY tentatively May 3, 2025  the first Saturday in May , 8 am to 2 pm.  NO GREENFIELD BAGS NEEDED FOR FREE DUMP DAY. 

Note:  Personal Checks will not be accepted at the Recycle Center.

Town of Greenfield Recycle Center Notice

Mattresses / Box Springs: At the Solid Waste Committee meeting in July of 2024, it was approved to charge for the airspace that mattresses take up in the landfill.  This charge will be refigured when the tipping fee is increased at the first of the year (may not happen every year) and will start January 1, 2025. The mattress rate for 2025 will be $50.00 per mattress. This is ANY size mattress and includes box springs.

Ag plastic will no longer be taken directly to the landfill. If residents inquire, please direct them to Modern Disposal either in Tomah or Sparta.
